Ragnar The Viking Goes Raiding With Brother Vinni
April 20, 2015 by brennon
Brother Vinni have produced another rather awesome character miniature but this time it's not from Ancient Egypt. This time they're boarding the longships and heading off for a raid with Ragnar The Viking...
He's been sculpted up in a running pose charging towards the enemy with his trademark axe in hand. Another great iteration of the character from the History Channel TV series 'Vikings' which has been very good so far this series.
If you haven't been watching it I suggest you do as they've done some impressive work on bringing this period of history to life. There might have been a few alterations in the time line and certain events but its been an interesting portrayal of Viking, Anglo-Saxon and now Frankish cultures at the time.
What do you think?

That is actually rather good. I am liking that dynamic action pose.
I haven’t watched the show but from the trailers this mini looks spot on
@solar watch it, only seen season 1 but it is very good.
Didn’t we see this mini already? or is this a different pose?
Just started watching season 2 and that is starting to look very interesting.
As for the mini I think it looks every part of the TV character.
@dags Ahhh so many great TV recommendations, my TV backlog is almost as bad as my painting one.
Fantastic! I ordered a Stronghold miniatures Ragnar and now I’ve ordered this one for Saga!
Dear Brother Vinni,
Please make a model based on Lagertha.
Seriously.
