Batman Vs Superman Trailer Leaks Forcing HD Version Online
April 18, 2015 by brennon
The trailer for the new Batman Vs Superman film 'Dawn of Justice' has leaked online ahead of the release of it proper on Monday. You can see the trailer HERE thanks to The Independent although if it's gone by the time you read this then you have a run down of what happened too...
Update: We've added the full new HD trailer above for you to check out...
The film premise seems to be a bit of a face off between Batman and Superman as the world rebels against the Man of Steel and his Godlike powers. It is going to be interesting to see how it all goes down but I think they've hit a good tone with the movie as it stands AND the fancy new Batsuit looks awesome.
Will you be keeping an eye out for the proper trailer?

So I assume Batman has got hold of some Kryptonite or this is going to be one short movie.

In the comic that inspired some of this stuff, Batman hits superman with kryptonite gas, and then beats the snot out of him.
Maybe he has a cannister of Krypton Air or something to choke Superman, and temporarily rob him of his powers.
this is based on Batman Return graphic novel by Frank Miller so if they do gopod and not fuck it up its going to be amazing . Wesadie1969
Can’t say I liked the Superman movie so not really interested in this. It will be a big draw card I am sure but they started off on the wrong foot for me…
I can sum up my problems with Man of Steel and my fears for Dawn of Justice in two words – Zack Snyder. The man has the storytelling abilities of a dead fish.
That is so true. Besides they made Superman in Man of Steel more like Batman with powers with all brooding. So basically what Zack Snyder, Christopher Nolan and WB think is that only way to make Superman marketable is to make him like Batman since Batman is popular.
yeah, I’m hoping they will put a bit more fun in the script this time,
but there are rumors WB has a “no jokes” policy for the new movies 🙁
And then make Batman like Iron Man to add to his popularity. 🙂
What happens at the end? do they just fight it out for a while until one of them says “OK, I give. Let’s start the justice league”
yeah the last superman movie was a bit of a mixed bag … I think henry cavil was a great superman, one of the best, and costner was a good 🙂 and I liked a lot of the flashbacks, and the fight scenes were pretty crazy, … but some of the movie just felt plain wrong … like the suit just magically floating towards him out of nowhere and suddenly he’s superman (O ,o) I just thought that was one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen (O , O) and the lois and clark dynamic being changed so much… Read more »
If I remember correct he’s on a space ship from his own planet when he gets his suit which makes sence to me
Normally I wouldn’t be interested. I find superheroes in general to be really cheesy and cringe inducing, and Superman to be the cheesiest and most cringe making of the lot. Man of Steel was a pleasant surprise then. I rented it purely out of curiosity and actually enjoyed it. I suspect that had they made the film that Superman fans wanted to see, then I wouldn’t have liked it at all. As for a no jokes policy, if that’s true then even better. I’m long since tired of seeing movies spoiled by unfunny and failed attempts at humour. Why is… Read more »
It depends on what kind of Superman fan you’re talking about, Erastus. I’ve liked most iterations of him, but like the more serious attempts a whole lot more. MoS had some jarring transitions, mostly down to an editing team that is not returning to this film. Writer and Cinematographer are also different, Affleck bringing Chris Terrio of Argo fame in to replace Goyer who is hit-and-miss on his best day. If your team matters, BvS has a lot going for it. I’m just going to have to see it to see if they can actually sell the premise. But here’s… Read more »
I’m kinda hoping Ben Affleck was brought in the be the stealth director lol. Just to clarify, I have no issue with the tone of Man of Steel. Although the character isn’t quite as flexible as Batman, it can and has been used in all sorts of different stories. It was a great relief to see they didn’t make the same mistake as Superman Returns and assume that both the character and filmmaking hadn’t moved on since the 1970s. My issue was with some of the storytelling which too often hamstrung the good things it was doing. It could be… Read more »
I liked the last Superman movie a lot (I know, I know… still ! I thought it was an elegant reboot, and yes, I’m a huge fan of the character. That’s precisely why I think it needed a refreshing change !)…
Still, this batman/superman movie is not what I want to see at all. This storyline needs to build up over a long time. When Superman fights Batman, they both need to be much older, and a lot of time needs to have passed with the JLA… AND it’s probably a parallel earth too.
Plus, Affleck.
Not to mention the batsuits are all, IMHO, fugly. And that CGI cape… meh.
I agree. They are rushing the gun on this one. Are we just supposed to forget the Nolan batman flicks? I wish DC didn’t feel the need to emulate Marvel and try to pull a cinematic universe together just to compete. Urgh
If I was Zack Znyder which I am, I’d have batman die in the end of that matrix showdown and send a distress call through to earth-one. It’s clean it’s by the books, it’s slightly unimpressive and it places us firmly back in a Christian Bale & Brandon Routh verse JLA vs avenger summer blockbuster showdown.
What I wouldn’t do to be able to edit comments in blogs.
We all wish for that one mate 😉
JUSTICE LEAGUE!
Dark Knight Returns?
Trailer was very vague, not sure as while it has batman and huge plus, it also has superman the single most boring superhero ever created. One for dvd I feel.
I have never been a fan of mixing heroes in comic series and now on the screen… so not waiting for this one… wonder when someone decides to make SpiderMan vs Punisher.
I think it looks awesome.
I hate Superman but Man of Steel was a great movie bar the third, final act which contained too much action which had no consequences and did not add to the plot, dragged on to long and was not skillful action, in contrast to the previous fight scenes. Great sci-fi element as well. That being said the major faults and plot flaws of Man of Steel, the should-have-been-cut world engine fight scene, Clark’s (note, if you think Superman appeared in this movie you have not paid attention, only the last minute of the movie can you argue he has become… Read more »
This is interesting, I recall about 20 years ago reading a comic book which had Batman V Superman, and in it Batman had been turned into a vampire and had effectively gone darkside. No idea what it was but liked it at the time.
The setup and character devleopment of Clark in the first two thirds of the film , discoery of his powers true capacity , his road trip , the exposition of JorEl etc was great . It descended into a slog fest , and I’m sure Snyder just fell in love with skyscraper falling over software! But the film was superb otherwise. I am just disappointed that its not intergrating with the DC Tv Verse espcially as there will be a supergirl series soon. and from the 3 seconds of the Batman we have seen has made me forget how the… Read more »
Agreed. Though it’s rumoured that Lex will actually get and use the tech from the World Engine thing in this movie, thus why it had such an “out of place” part in Man of Steel.
And all those skycrapers Superman helped destroy was also done with purpose.
But still, the action was poorly done in the third act, and not like the awesome of the first two acts.
Saw the trailer and started to wonder if Knight Models will add a power suited Batman to the miniatures game in order to fight DC superheroes such as Superman. They seem to have full rights to to every part of the licence so far…
It’s interesting that Superman is seen as a hostile force or bad for Earth in this trailer rather than in the comics that made Batman the danger and Superman the man sent to clean him up.
How in heavens name are they going to become the JLA is beyond me… unless some force, say Luthor trumps them both and forces them to unite! That would totally suck. I hate when warring sides become allies of convenience to defeat a greater danger. I’ve seen it too often in shows and movies and it never really works well.
Well Man of Steel set up why mankind might be …lukewarm… to Superman. The Batman in this movie is meant to be an older version of Batman, maybe in his 40s? even older. He has the rep of a hero. The new movie appears to have a “how do we react to knowing aliens exist?” vibe going on as well. Luthor, so the rumour is, back engineered all the tech from that big world engine monster in Man of Steel. It is more than likely Lex had a hand in bringing the Batman out of his retirement or whatever, to… Read more »
