The Extreme Carnivean Of Everblight Roars Into Life For Hordes

Privateer Press have added another huge and extremely deadly looking beast to their repertoire and this time the Legion of Everblight brings a mighty Extreme Carnivean to the world of Hordes...
The Extreme range is all focused around making massive versions of the existing Warbeasts and Warmachines in a more animated and visceral style. The idea is that they not only look terrifying on the tabletop but provide a great project for painters too since they have a lot more to work with.
I think this would be a fascinating model to try and tackle as a painter with the variety of skin layers and the armour to consider. It would be interesting to see how it would look when slicked up with blood and ichor too I think.
What do you think of it?

Crazy looking stuff for the Legion again. Have picked up a few minis for this faction and it looks like I will add it to my Warmahordes collection. That is truly lovely paintwork as usual.
This has been around for a while, but was only available direct from PP previously. it’s a hell of a sculpt though.

The Extreme Dire Troll, unfortunately is up against the Classic version, one of the best in the Troll range; sadly not bettered by the all in one kit version. This Extreme Carnivean….just seems to be a bit too busy (for me at any rate). The Extreme Wolf is using the old Warpwolf aesthetic; it’s better than the classic version, and it’s nice to see PP try this kind of pose but I prefer the newer aesthetic truth be told. This is what you get when a greater daemon of slaneesh gives rohypnol to a hive tyrant and takes advantage.
Ahhh yeah! That looks sweet.
That’s Extreme!
I like its gross, snaggly teeth
Have to admit, I didn’t realise how much bigger the Extreme models were – can’t find a good shot of the Carnivean, but here’s a Gladiator example:

Makes the price seem a lot more reasonable too…
