The Kickstarter For Oathsworn’s Burrows & Badgers Begins!
April 8, 2015 by brennon
Oathsworn have kicked off their fundraiser for Burrows & Badgers which we talked about yesterday in the news, bringing a range of fantastic anthropomorphic animal warriors to the tabletop as well as a little skirmish game too!
The Pledges
You can check out the two pledges that I reckon most people will be interested in for the project below although if you fancy it you can just plump for five figures of your choice or maybe even just a single figure with the Badger Mercenary...
I think this is looking great so far and each of the sculpts is packed with a great sense of character. The Kickstarter is aiming to get twenty of these heroes done for backers allowing you to field a myriad of different fighters in the skirmish game they have planned.
The Heroes!
Next up it seems to make sense to look at some of the heroes and villains that you can pick up. There are a lot of them so I've picked out some that we've never seen before. You can find the rest over on their Kickstarter page...
The Kickstarter video also explains a little bit about the background of the game and where they're going with the storyline. It all has a very nice Redwall feel to it which I love and I can't wait to see what they do with the rest of the upcoming miniatures AND hopefully we'll see some painted versions too.
What animals do you like best?

Those are really promising bunch.
I think the mole warrioress is my favourite so far. Went for all the models as a little skirmish game with these sounds fun
I kinda was hoping they’d continue their Project Pantheon instead.
I’m also looking forward to more of the Project Pantheon but these are nice as well. I’m actually going to start painting my Odin this afternoon.
Grimnir needs a dog to ride on to fight the goblin king
Thanks guys!
We are planning to continue Project Pantheon – it’s just been delayed due to a couple of issues… firstly, we’ve got 2 moulds for Freyja done, but our casting machine won’t run either of them, and secondly, I did a sculpt of Thor, but just really didn’t like the way he turned out. So I need to start over.
So, it will happen, but I don’t know exactly when.
Mr Lovejoy, you know us gamers, so impatient. Never paint are minis but can’t wait to buy the next batch!
I feel a REDWALL campaign coming on! Brian Jacques forever! 😀
These would make nice figures for Bunnies and Burrows
Looks like they could be useful for Mutant RPGs.
Well, we are funded now – so the figures will definitely get produced! So I’m off to do some more sculpting. 🙂
you have no idea how happy this makes me, Tales of Redwall were my favourite books as a child, and for ages ive been looking for a company that does nice miniatures that would allow me to do a game based on those books, so whilst i may not be able to chip in on the kickstarter, i can guarantee that i will be getting some of these in the future, those sculpts are perfect
Redwall was indeed the best, wasn’t it, @balthazaar ? This Kickstarter just needs a couple of mouse heroes, squirrel archers, and indomitable river otter chieftains and we’d be all set! 😀
