Hasslefree Hunt the Witch As They Release Salome Kohn
March 31, 2015 by dracs
Hasslefree have released a new fantasy model to hunt the witches across the tabletop. Try not to fall under the suspicion of Hexenjäger Salome Kohn.
Salome Kohn started out as a fantasy variant of Hasslefree's scifi character Justice Sedante. However, rather than just going for a simple component swap, Hasslefree have given the original sculpt an impressive make-over, from her undercoat to her sword sheath and hat.
All in all, Hasslefree have managed to create a superb witch hunter model, obviously inspired by the iconic image of Robert E. Howard's character Solomon Kane, especially with her puritan-style hat, although an unhatted "heretical" version is also available.
This model is a fantastic sculpt. The attention to detail is superb, and I am especially impressed that they did go for a resculpt. I really hope we get to see these painted up soon.
What games would you use this model in? Personally, I think she will make the perfect leader for a Witch Hunter warband in Mordheim.

First thing I thought of was Solomon Kane 😉 . Great figure. “No, thanks” to the chain sword, obviously.
You’re looking at the original sci-fi version, not the new one.
It is kind of confusing that pic was posted in this article, of course.
Those are really nice models.
Is the first one guy Fawkes?
I play the Savage World’s version of Solomon Kane and this is decidedly going into the collection.
