Shaltari vs UCM: James vs Dave

Dave and James get stuck into a demonstration game, with Dave fielding the military might of the UCM against the technological superiority of James' Shaltari.
In the first two turns, James kept himself hidden behind the buildings, steering clear of Dave's Rapier Anti-Air guns. Dave managed to get five hits on the vital Eden gate craft, only for James to be saved by the Shaltari's shield tech, passing each 5+ save.
I’ve played just once with my UCM against Shaltari, and they are a pain in the neck. That superb redeployability is the bread and butter of the army. They move so different it’s at the same time refreshing and scary xD
The Shaltari shields are not that great, but if you have a good hand that day, can be a game changer indeed.
The nice thing about the UCM is that against Shaltari even the AA tanks can destroy a Shaltari tank if you are lucky, but they AA tanks can’t scratch your tanks back (that lovely lovely armour 10 xD)
