Brand new and shipped out this week are two brand spanking new demon sculpts from Cipher Studios.
These are models for the Hell Dorado Game, but these are not re-releases... these are brand new!

If you need a mini that is more 2nd ed Planescape Tiefling than 4th ed “Warcraft Villain” Tiefling, Reaper’s “Devil Girl” miniature from their Chronoscope line is a good base. Tail and (small) horns, but not in-your-face evil. Or mostly naked.

I don’t think these were available outside the original starter set though, so in a way they are new…… lol
Not so keen on the ‘beastman’ type demon, but i really like the Succubus mini. Hell Dorados demons generally have a nice sick quality to them. Looks another mini to add to my list of things to buy!
The Succubus would make a great slanesh CSM Lord of Dameon.
I love the Hell Dorado demons. Details like the Succubus’s flesh being stripped off and her raw muscles exposed really adds to the demonic feel. That’s some Hellraiser-like kink going on right there! I hope Cipher release them all in good time, which is the one with the puppet-like strings – the Eurynome or something? I can’t recall but I want it!
I’m happy that they didn’t censor the succubus. Two very good sculpts and the succubus is a real fighting machine!
The infernal ambassidor is a little meh for my tastes. Its very generic and does not seem to tie in with the other Helldorado daemons.
The sucubus on the other hand…. damn thats a nice mini. The details of the skin looking like its been peeled off and used as clothing, the fantastic looking whips and the overall awsomness of the pose make it look sadistic and dangerous. Perfect for the Helldorado setting.
The one thing I can find fault with is the fairly blank facial expression, otherwise a sweet mini.
The Infernal Ambassador i think is meant to be the only HD demon (in the fluff) to have gone to Earth and as such is our vision of what a demon should look like…. the other demons are just a load of sick skin peeling horrors or fat ravenous tongue beasts. The HD range is nice and adult in theme
I just hope that the rulebook shipment on the way from China doesn’t get further delayed… not only for my sake but also Cipher Studio’s sake. Dave and Kai need to catch a break!!! lol. I love most of the Hell Dorado mini’s and I love my Saracen faction.
Like a lot of the HD range, also will be good for the Claustrophobia board game.
