Dungeons & Dragons is working towards that Elemental Evil campaign in April and in the mean time they've got some pre-painted figures for you to pick up in old school style  booster packs. See what you think of the previews below for a range of the beasts you'll be facing...

Ogre, Fire Elemental & Earth Elemental

In the first image you can see the Ogre followed by a Fire and Earth Elemental while in the second you get a shot of the Air and Water Elemental alongside a flying Chimera.

Air Elemental, Water Elemental, Chimera

I have to say despite these photos not being too close up or high detail these are actually not bad! I think the Ogre and Chimera have painted up quite nicely, and the Elementals are pretty easy monsters to paint so it's good to see they nailed that well too. Overall I think I'd say I'm kind of impressed by the pre-paint work here.

Away from the models its also good to see more monsters become available for Dungeon Masters to use and even though it comes in an annoying format they aren't overly expensive to pick up. I like the idea of just breaking out some miniatures and getting them ready to go immediatly.

Saying that, the Reaper Bones line does require painting but it's got a lot to offer.

What do you think?
