5th Player Expansion & More Models Unlocked For Blood Rage Board Game!

Blood Rage from Guillotine Games and Studio McVey is going great guns and they've unlocked a whole host of extra options for their game. You can check out not only the different goals but also some of the extra fantastic miniatures that make up the game pieces...
...so here is where we come to the first of the awesome miniatures being added to the Kickstarter version of the game. I love the look of this Mystic Troll with a real human feel to it so it's not just a big lumbering monster. It's also another perfect representation of Adrian Smith's art in miniature form which is great to see.
Once again, just wow. I'm kind of speechless when it comes to the sculpts we're getting for this game and even in the prototype versions we've seen in the demo game and the plastics that got shown off before the launch we've had some high quality pieces making their way into the mix. Not only are you going to have a gorgeous game with Blood Rage but a massive painting project to undertake too!
The final stretch goal for the moment is the Loki figure which brings in the Gods of Asgard rule for the game. When a God is on the board he bestows his ability to the region meaning it takes effect for everyone. Let's hope that all the other Gods get their chance to fight in the battles between the clans too!
As if that wasn't enough they've also added the 5th Player Expansion as an optional buy. The expansion itself WILL be available after launch with only the extra miniature monsters being the Kickstarter Exclusive. Don't worry. The Ram Clan are the new addition to the game and look just as awesome as the others.

After checking the KS out, and asking a few questions, I’m gonna have to sit this one out. I love the Studio McVey Minis, but if the KS can’t be bothered to reply to a my question as to what type of material they are using/what I should expect in terms of how they would clean up(mold lines), I can’t rightly justify giving them my money. I’ve been having some bad experience with CMON run KS campaigns for a while now… I think I’m done backing them full stop…
Agree. CMON or not is bad news. Won’t rant about it here anymore, there are entire books of rants out there on the net about all the bad things they’ve done. I will say one of their principals used to own New Wave minis here in the US and to date I believe it is one of the most poorly run (to being almost fraudulent) tabletop gaming related businesses of all time. I haven’t got into this KS… mainly because Conan got all my money already. but I cant imagine them not wanting to answer you. your question must have been lost in the amount of other comments. I would give it another try, or try sending them the question in private directly.
The question was sent as a private message. I’m assuming this is due to them not wanting to answer questions regarding to the materials used. I’ve been asking for a few of their campaigns now, and it seems like this is one of those questions they try to skirt. If this isn’t the case, awesome, maybe they’ll answer me sometime. But as it stands, I’ve asked about their materials every time a new campaign comes up in hopes they’ll switch to something better, but over the last 3-4 campaigns, they’ve been ignoring those questions or something… So yeah, enough good… Read more »

Looks very good, the playthrough video is worth a watch. I am very tempted but I just don’t see me getting the play to justify picking this up. Beautiful sculpts, would actually love a unit of those trolls for my o&G army
