15mm Wild CATs and Tom CATs from Rebel Minis
June 4, 2011 by atomsmasher
I don't usually think of much detail when I think of 15mm miniatures; some of them can be a bit "blobby" in my honest opinion. But these Wild CATs and Tom CATs (Cybernetic Autonomous Troopers) from Rebel Minis are really looking nice.
They're a bit larger than your average 15mm sci-fi trooper, but they're designed to be Tank Busters and Heavy Mecha Assault Infantry, so it makes sense. If I played 15mm sci-fi (and a lot of people do these days), these would absolutely find their way in to my arsenal.
I'm betting that you could put these figures up next to normal 28mm sci-fi figures, call them "war droids" or "battle constructs" or something like that, and no one would give you flak for using these 15mm models in your 28mm skirmish game.

why dam you why…..more stuff for my list of one day youll be mine
Not to sure about the shields, But I quite like the style of the armor.
If these were mastered with CAD… let’s see these in multiple scales. They’d be great for Battletech or Firestorm Invasion (when it’s released) as alternates.
Nice work from Rebel Minis.
