perfect for squats
Stargrunt, BKC, Striker and maybe even Epic
It would be quite easy to make some of those building out of a bit of foamboard and plasticard. Very easy I’d say.
I have to agree. First thing that came into my head were yoghurt pots, an icecream tub and a shampoo bottle. The last piece is the best out of the bunch but even that I could knock up myself in an afternoon at very low cost.
Not a fan at all sorry.
Since these are 15mm scale I see them as being perfect “improptu” terrain pieces that could be used to represent a battle over a refinery or heaving farming facility in a “flames of war” game. Perhaps something in the caucasus region of Russia during the 1942 German offensive if you were doing a “what if” type battle. Then, of course, there is the tank factory at Stalingrad itself. Those would look great surrounding a bigger building representing the main factory. Tanks do require oil and fuel to be driven off the assembly line directly into battle. Or you could even… Read more »

sry for posting this but really think that MWG got a point…
I clicked, watched and agree whole heartedly but would this not be seen better in a more relevant section like in one of the GW getting started groups? You could give it its own thread or group then.
Doesn’t look much better then my cardboard buildings:

I’d expect much more when paying for a resin kit.
Not everyone has the time or confidence to make their own terrain so this looks okay if you are so inclined. Would look good painted up, though have to agree that the panels on the cylindrical tank are unecessary, and notice they are not squarely aligned.
I prefer to recycle, be creative and make my own from cheap/free materials. Partly due to financial restrictions and being a tight wad lol
Perfect for Khador
TimeMoney
YoungOld
The above is an illustration of why I would buy these, I have more money than time, as the older you get it seems that you have less time for yourself, but (if you are lucky *and* work hard) you dont mind paying someone else to do the things you cant because you have sold your time to your employer.
You are right that time is money.
But is it still a wargaming hobby if you buy overpriced bbq cups?
I like ready-made terrain. Especially some of the commercially available model trees are hard to beat. But here I am just surprised by the lack of detail.
And I was buying Forgeworld terrain bits. Their Epic line is stunning.
This terrain would work nicely with the new 15mm game “Valkyrie” being developed by a couple of the guys from my FLGS.
They already have a fairly robust miniatures line of Giant Robots, Human Troopers (in different varieties), jet bikes, and super massive tanks. The rules are simple to learn and difficult to master. More races are planned. Their website is pretty lean atm but you should check it out anyway. http://artcrimeproductions.blogspot.com/
