Undead & Grognards! “New” Sets Coming From Wargames Atlantic

A couple of "new" plastic boxed sets will be up for pre-order this weekend from Wargames Atlantic. The first of these is a collection of existing plastic sets for their Undead range all together as part of the Skeleton Army.

The Skeleton Army collects together their Skeleton Warriors and Skeleton Cavalry And Chariots and packs the box with eighteen horses, four chariots and eighty-five Skeletons. This can then be mixed and matched to help you build an army for The Old World, Oathmark, Midgard Heroic Battles, Kings Of War and plenty of other Fantasy wargames.

This could be a solid option for someone starting in Fantasy wargames and seeking a good way to get a lot of dry undead in one place. Stick a Greek hero or two up against them alongside some surly Hoplites and you've had the makings of an epic battle.

Les Grognards Mise à Niveau?

The next update is for a new plastic set for Les Grognards. It turns out the production of the older boxed sets was taking a while so they have streamlined and upgraded the plastic set.

The new Grognards have been retooled onto one full frame but this also comes with a new pose and a new set of rifle arms which allows you to get more from the set going forward.

Each box will come with six of the frames below giving you twenty-four figures and loads of head options.

This essentially makes this a good quality-of-life update for the Les Grognards and should be good for those using these to build their Sci-Fi armies for Warhammer 40,000 and beyond. With the addition of more expansion sets for the Les Grognards, this is a welcome update to one of the older plastic sets.
