Satyr Art Studio’s Oldhammer Halflings Get Ready For A Scrap

Satyr Art Studio's Oldhammer Halflings are now available for you to snatch up for building your classic Fantasy armies. There are some great options for you here themed to match the C-Series Perry sculpts.

Each of the miniatures comes in around 15/17mm range to the eye and matches up with plenty of old (and new) 28mm miniatures. They are all in the classic 80s style when it comes to their arms and armour, ready for war instead of just chowing down like the older villager miniatures they are based on.

The majority of the miniatures come armed with billhooks and bows but you can also get Halflings with swords, shields, slings plus command elements for leading regiments like the mixed one above. They also break down into Boffin's Bills and the East Shilling Shooters if you'd like to make them into distinct regiments for a bit of Dogs Of War-style action on the tabletop.

I love how above and beyond Satyr Art Studio go with their miniatures, going so far as to create retro-themed adverts for them in the style of magazines of old.

As well as all of the named miniatures you also get a bit of lore to help you make a decision on whether or not you want to scoop up these miniatures! I think it would be great to snap these up and start slotting them into a few Oldhammer armies, be they for The Old World or a classic game of Warhammer from back in the day. Maybe they'll even make the journey to Mordheim?
