Delve Deeper Into Dungeon Saga With New Expansion Sets
January 16, 2025 by brennon
Mantic Games are bringing more adventures to the tabletop for fans of Dungeon Saga Origins. If you're in the mood for a fun, quick and easy dungeon-crawling adventure then you can't go far wrong with Dungeon Saga Origins and two more expansions are up for pre-order right now.
Daughters Of Doom // Dungeon Saga Origins
The first of the expansions is Daughters Of Doom which introduces the fiendish Abyssal Dwarfs into the mix for your Dungeon Saga Origins adventures. This whole new story follows from the Glimmer Of Greed campaign expansion and is ideal for playing with the original four characters, Danor, Madriga, Orlaf, and Rordin.

Included within, you'll find new components, cards and a few new rules for both Overlords and Heroes to get their heads around. Dungeon Saga Origins also works using a Digital Overlord so if you'd prefer to play cooperatively then you can do that as well. As you can see, you get some fearsome new Bosses including the Ironcaster and Ahmazud Doomfyre who are up to some nefarious shenanigans.
As a note, you will need Dungeon Saga Origins' core game and the Glimmer Of Greed expansion to play this particular adventure.
Sneaky Elves!
The second of the expansions is Mirrors Of Malice!
Mirrors Of Malice // Dungeon Saga Origins
Mirrors Of Malice introduces the new miniatures for the Twilight Kin into the dungeon delving into Dungeon Saga Origins and the world of Pannithor. Heading to the coastal City Of Dyr, the heroes are investigating rumours of forbidden magic within the mage's grand tower but some Twilight Kin raiders are also seeking a dark secret and will no doubt come to blows with the party.
Mirrors Of Malice // Dungeon Saga Origins
This follows up on Daughters Of Doom in terms of the storyline but you don't need anything other than the core game to play this particular quest. It would be good to play in order though I reckon! Once again, it comes with new rules and mechanics as well as the fearsome Crone and Yzariel Duskweaver and ways for you to play in a versus or cooperative format.

Dungeon Saga Expansions // Mantic Games
If you're a fan of the likes of HeroQuest then you might want to check out Dungeon Saga Origins as a fun alternative. Not only have they tweaked and reworked the mechanics to make them easy to dive into for friends and family alike but it features some of the best-looking miniatures in the Mantic range in my opinion!
