CROM
So hot all I see is skin
35deg celcius outside and a small window to lay down some paint before the heat creeps in. Thank god for wet pallets but I will still need to work fast to beat the drying times.
I lay down a coat of Speed paint Crusade Skin then blend a gradient of citadels Kislev Flesh, Cadian Fleshtone,Deathclaw Browen, and Skrag Brown with a few drops of Speedpaint medium to glaze it all.
Generaly speaking I hit the mid tones first, added a few highlights then blended between the mids back to any areas I felt were too dark with the browns.
Though I’m happy with the general direction for about 1.5 hrs work I think I’ll touch up some of these areas when the weather cools. I have at least a week of hot humid weather ahead so it will be interesting to see if I can find ways to get base layers/glazes down for finessing later.
First step will be storing the wet pellet in the fridge
