Here are all the current Conans to date. More to come when I recieve the red nails pledge.

So far a simple airbrushed zenith and a detail drybrush of white over. And started basing in the skin tones.

My painting style feels kinda settled on prgressive glazes but for this project I’ve broken out a speed paint starter set along with a bottle of speed paint medium. I think it will compliment my normal process well, and maybe I’ll spend less time getting my glazes to the right consistancy.

Maybe 5 years or more I pulled out a selection of minis required for my first couple of chosen scenarios. Undercoated them, toyed with the idea of using a coloured, tonal, zenith and stopped.

I’ve considered it as a spring clean challenge entry a couple of times but there was always something else.

I think I may even have even posted a pic in the ‘What are you painting now?” thread all those years ago but I simply couldn’t gather enough energy to commit to painting my pile of Conan shame. As I had the good fortune of having a local mate who not only loved the game but had already painted his collection. So it was case of why do today what I can put it of till………

At a face to face meet with my long term gamer crew last weekend I decided to ref a game of the new Monolith Conan RPG using the released quick start rules and characters. Though I hadn’t ref’d game in decades it was a total blast and it has reignited my love for all things Conan to the point where spring cannot wait.
