Game designer Andy Hobday has been announced as the new Creative Director at Wargames Atlantic this week. He joins the team as they look to develop games in-house and externally so fun things are happening in the future!
Andy Hobday // Wargames Atlantic
Andy started in Games Workshop and then moved on to Warlord Games. He then purchased the UK division of Footsore Miniatures and developed and expanded it into Footsore Miniatures & Games. His most recent endeavours have been focused on game design and the development of titles such as The Barons' War, Mortal Gods and Gangs Of Rome as well as Warhost, the newest Fantasy game from Hobday & Hicks.
As mentioned above, Andy Hobday will take on the role of Creative Director, lead the development of the new games coming out of Wargames Atlantic and work with those who partner with the company. As pointed out by both Andy Hobday and Paul Hicks, this does not change the dynamic duo's work together and I'm sure we're going to be seeing a lot of them in the future too.
Are you eager to see the games coming out of Wargames Atlantic?
"Andy Hobday will take on the role of Creative Director..."
As long as I keep getting more Barons War miniatures for my Symbaroum project to consume I shall be happy
So now he’s going to play the lead role, write da feme tune, and sing da feme tune…
Andy Hobday was a man
Doing the best he can
A doo doo doo
Doo doo doo
Footsore make some great games, I hope that magic continues.
I always felt WGA had a bright future but now, the sun is really going to shine for WGA.
Well done WGA and keep producing those fantastic plastic sets.
This can only be a positive thing. Except for my wallet.
