About the Project
I needed to take a break from painting goblins, but only wanted something quick. I had a couple of sprues of Mantic Marauders , using the Mantic Companion I cobbled together a 150 point warband for Deadzone. I know a few people who dabble in it so I figured why not?

First day
Slapped a bit of basecoat on the skin. The vagueness of the detail between the boots and kneepads and the shoulder armour. I am resigned to these looking ‘good enough ‘ at best. I feel like my painting ability has deteriorated over the last 12 months.
Geared and primed
The models were very simple 4-5 piece builds , so with only ten models to go at they were assembled in no time.
The sculpts are ‘ok’ but a lot of their gear just kind of merges into the bodies without good delineation.
