Warlord Games has announced the pre-order date for the next Bolt Action Third Edition Armies Of... book. Armies Of The United States will be up for pre-order from 24th January 2025 ahead of a release on the 24th April 2025.
Armies Of The United States // Bolt Action
Following on from Armies Of Germany, Armies Of The United States will come with loads of additional detail on running your American forces during World War II. There will be plenty of new unit profiles, special rules and more including the updated Early/Middle/Late War reference pages that you get in the new books.
US Airborne // Bolt Action
There are plenty of guides in the book for running American armies storming the beaches of Normandy, battling on the Italian peninsula or island hopping through the Pacific. There's plenty to inspire brand-new World War II projects in 2025.
USMC // Bolt Action
You will also find all of the full-colour images and miniature photography that you've come to expect from these books, giving you a good idea of how to paint your uniforms for your troops, whichever theatre they end up fighting in.
US Vehicles // Bolt Action
As well as the book, you'll also be able to get your hands on a special pre-order miniature. See what you make of Sergeant James "Jake" McNiece.
Sergeant James "Jake" McNiece // Bolt Action
He was a legend of the US Airborne and this miniature shows him in his winter clothing, leading his paratroopers into the Battle Of The Bulge. According to Warlord, he was also the bane of many a superior officer and military policeman so he sounds like the perfect hero for you to drop into your collection.
More miniatures will also be joining the release of Armies Of The United States. There will be a brand new plastic infantry kit, the US Airborne (D-Day). This will allow you to field American paratroopers in their M1942 uniforms that you might have seen in Band Of Brothers. This plastic set will form part of a new Currahee! Starter Army that will also feature new Warlord Resin weapon teams and platoon commanders. More details on this set will be coming in the new year.
