Antediluvian Miniatures previewed some of the brand-new 28mm miniatures they will be releasing soon for both their Historical range but also their Fantasy collection. We start with their Historical teaser with an on-foot version of Robert The Bruce and The Black Douglas.

Robert The Bruce & The Black Douglas - Antediluvian Miniatures

Robert The Bruce & The Black Douglas // Antediluvian Miniatures

These characters look fantastic and come packed with detail, just like you'd expect. They are sculpted by Matthew Bickley and match up really well with the existing mounted miniatures. The chainmail looks great and I really like the poses. You've got The Bruce commanding his warriors forward whilst The Douglas gets ready to draw his sword and face down a new foe.

Skeleton Warriors (Cue Theme Tune)

As well as the two Historical miniatures, you can also get your hands on a new Fantasy miniature in the new year. Paul Muller has been working on an excellent Skeletal Champion for you to use when leading your armies of the undead.

Skeleton Warrior #1 - Antediluvian Miniatures

The miniature has been designed with a distinctly Oldhammer vibe in mind, reminiscent of classic Blanchesque artwork. This homage looks fantastic and could be brilliant at the head of a shambling, rattling army.

Skeleton Warrior #2 - Antediluvian Miniatures

Could this be a great candidate for those new John Blanche paints coming out in the new year from the folks at The Army Painter? The details are on point and I particularly like the shield design and the work on the haft of the hammer. I would absolutely love to see Muller doing their interpretation of Harry The Hammer.

What do you make of these upcoming miniatures?
