Explore Pulp Figures Full New Retro Sci-Fi Miniatures Range
December 6, 2024 by brennon
Pulp Figures have shown off more of the miniatures that you can snap up as part of their 28mm Retro Sci-Fi range. The Exo Genesis collection is inspired by those awesome Pulp Sci-Fi adventures that you would have read in comics, books and in early TV shows and movies.
American Rocket Crew // Pulp Figures
There are some very heroic individuals for you to scoop up as part of the different sets, each perfect for those diving into Pulp adventures where humanity is testing the limits of human ingenuity. Go where no man has gone before and explore in the name of science and maybe a little bit of conquest.
American Security // Pulp Figures
Not all of the characters in the sets are coming as part of a peaceful mission and others are ready with their blasters and rayguns, ready to protect "the Earth way!". I love that all of the characters have strong jawlines and cheekbones, perfect for the silver screen.
On top of the Rocket Crews, you can also get a set of great Merchant characters who might be those who ply the trade lanes between planets and keep Earth's exploratory efforts going.
Merchant Space Crew // Pulp Figures
Even Merchants need to defend themselves sometimes and that's where this set comes in. You've got a lot of awesome miniatures here, both male and female, ready to keep their cargo out of the hands of pesky aliens!
Armed Merchant Spacers // Pulp Figures
Going up against humanity, you can also get your hands on some great new miniatures for these Martian types.
Martians // Pulp Figures
These characters could be allies if you treat them right but I wouldn't like to know what they do with that probe! I like that, in classic Pulp Sci-Fi trends, the characters are just humans painted blue/green/yellow, take your pick. Classic Sci-Fi right there.
Some of the budget from the TV series does go on a bit of prosthetic work in the case of these Saucer Men though.
Saucer Men // Pulp Figures
All the miniatures from Pulp Figures look fantastic and would be a great fit for a range of different Pulp games out there. If you wanted to use them with a game like 7TV, you could then make this fellow and his allies the main characters!
Century Smith & Salambo Crew // Pulp Figures
Century Smith and the Salambo Crew finish off the range of miniatures from Pulp Figures. The figures should be making their way to tabletops very soon. What kind of games do you think you'd use these for? A bit of Star Schlock perhaps?

I like the saucerpeople. I’d paint them green though.
Some nice minis, but I think the ‘legs spread wide stance’ of the ‘heroic types’ is just asking for a knee, or boot to the groin.
Right in the junk!
