Grab New Spectre Mythos Core Box & More For Lovecraft Adventures
November 26, 2024 by brennon
The new Spectre Mythos Core Box is now available for you to pick up from Spectre Miniatures for your Lovecraftian adventures. This set comes with all of the miniatures and the rules you'll need to play out this spin-off to Spectre Operations.
FBI Agents // Spectre Miniatures
Inside the set, you get four FBI Agents and one Investigator alongside two Townsfolk and three Human Cultists. You'll also get the two Hybrids (see below) who are clearly very sane and normal gentlemen who aren't up to anything nefarious.
Hybrids // Spectre Miniatures
Capping things off for the miniatures in the set, you also have both a Lesser Horror and an Eldritch Horror. This gives you some brand new foes to come up against if you should fail to stop the ritual that the Cultists are looking to complete.
Eldritch Horror // Spectre Miniatures
This should be a great starting point for someone seeking to dive into a bit of Lovecraftian tabletop gaming. Even if you don't end up using these miniatures for Spectre Mythos, you could drop these into games of Call Of Cthulhu and more. Here is a good look at the different miniatures you get in the set, all setup and ready for a clash!
Mythos Core Box // Spectre Miniatures
The Core Box also includes the full supplement for Spectre Mythos. These rules are also available separately if you already have some miniatures you're planning on using.
Spectre Mythos Rules // Spectre Miniatures
The Mythos rules introduce additional mechanics for Sanity, Insanity, environmental effects and variations of the Eldritch Horrors you'll come up against.
Mythos Element Rules // Spectre Miniatures
You will also find a breakdown of new weapons appropriate to the period and a range of Investigator Abilities which you can use to combat your eldritch foes. You will need the core Spectre Operations Rules which are also available on the Spectre webstore.
Mythos Weapon Rules // Spectre Miniatures
Mythos introduces rules for Sanity, Insanity, strange environmental effects and multiple variations for your Eldritch Horrors - as well as new weapons and investigator abilities to combat them.
Bonus Mythos Releases
As well as the Core Box and the Rules, you can also get your hands on two bonus sets which should be good for setting the scene. You can get the Sedan Car which is perfect for zooming away from danger.

The Cultists can also make use of a set of rather creepy-looking Standing Stones. They come with strange iconography on them, clearly a way of summoning eldritch beings from the beyond OR making sure they are contained. Never use summon before you've learned bind as they say.
Standing Stones // Spectre Miniatures
All of these miniatures are available right now, giving you a great starting point for Lovecraftian adventures during the 1930s. I could see this being a great side project for Spectre Operations players but also a good way for newcomers to experience the rules before perhaps trying out the Ultra Modern bleeding edge combat of the core game.
What do you make of the Spectre Mythos collection?
