Moonstone’s Second Wave Of The Shades Up For Pre-Order
November 6, 2024 by brennon
Goblin King Games are now taking pre-orders for the second wave of miniatures for use in 32mm Fantasy game, Moonstone. More spooky characters are on the way for those looking to expand the newest faction to be introduced to the game.
Echo Of The Forgotten King // Moonstone
We start with the mighty Echo Of The Forgotten King, looming out of the curling mist! Blessed with Unholy Strength and Toughness, the Forgotten King can do extra damage in combat and weather wounds that would bring other characters down.

Additionally, the Forgotten King can also make use of the Fleeting Presence ability to take damage and then take additional actions without spending energy. A miniature where the rules live up to the terrifying sculpt!
Next up, we have a couple of additional sets for The Shades starting with Nanny! I'm sure she's perfectly fine to leave with your children.
Nanny // Moonstone
This set comes with the miniature for Nanny as well as three new Psychopomp miniatures (Urchin, Pookie and Sprog). Nanny herself feels like a great support miniature, able to restore energy and wounds to nearby allies whilst also being able to summon "The Nursery" to protect her. She can also use her Lullaby ability to drain the energy of foes nearby.
Nanny - Miniatures // Moonstone
The Psychopomps are going to be just as annoying for you to deal with as they can lure in enemy figures and then use their ability to rush away, forcing them to effectively waste their activation. Dastardly!
Eternal Servitude is the second of the bigger sets for this second wave of pre-orders and has you heading to the graveyard.
Eternal Servitude // Moonstone
This set comes with miniatures for Viktor Petty, Graverobber, Viscount de Faulte and Igor The Servant. That is quite the nightmarish nag that the Viscount has managed to get his hold on! I wouldn't look that gift horse in the mount too closely.
Eternal Servitude - Miniatures // Moonstone
Viktor works as a good support miniature, able to aid other Risen allies and keep them "fresh". Igor is similar in his support role, able to gift other Risen characters with boons. Additionally, Igor is the one who can summon the Echo Of The Forgotten King to the tabletop as a bonus addition to your troupe.
The Viscount is a decently fearsome combatant on the tabletop and simply being around him reduces your effectiveness in melee. He can even beat you to the punch and activate first if he feels like he needs a boost.
Scatter Terrain & Tokens
As well as the new miniatures above, Goblin King Games are also taking pre-orders for a set of scatter terrain to help theme your tabletops. The Tombs Of Moonreach set comes with a bunch of resin terrain pieces for use on bases and other terrain projects.

Shades players can also get their hands on the Faction Tokens set which comes with a selection of acrylic tokens for tracking all of your various abilities.

You can also get a set of Water Feature Tokens as well, also in acrylic so they're hard-wearing.
A Painter's Spooky Bust!
Finally, Moonstone lovers can also get themselves a rather impressive 1/24th scale bust of the Echo Of The Forgotten King to paint!
Forgotten King Bust // Moonstone
This is a big new bust for collectors and painters of the Moonstone range. It comes unpainted and without the plinth, cast in high-quality resin. It will require a bit of building but should be great to display on the shelf or perhaps use as a prize for someone in a Moonstone tournament.
All of these miniatures, busts and accessories are available to pre-order right now from Goblin King Games!
