The Ottomans Bring Their Expertise To TTCombat’s Carnevale
October 30, 2024 by brennon
TTCombat has added another gang to their collection for those seeking a new way of playing games of 32mm Pulpy skirmish game Carnevale. The Patricians can call on the Ottoman Discipline when seeking to conquer the streets and canals of Venice.
Ottoman Discipline // Carnevale
This set comes with five miniatures that work as a complete gang. They are led by the Chorbaji with their heavy armour and mace. Backing them up, you also have the Janissary who uses their axe to break down doors and route out criminals on the streets of Venice. That is a decidedly interesting ending to a "knock, knock" joke.

There is also a dashing Pirate who can add some muscle and perhaps knows a few contacts down on the docks. Capping things off for the set, you also have the Janissary Sapper who can throw bombs at your enemies for explosive results. I like that they modelled the thrown bomb into the smoke coming from the fuse allowing you to give some dynamism to the sculpt.
Finally, there is also the Archer who can give you some much-needed long-range support, perhaps sitting atop a roof somewhere, aiming down into the fray looking to take down elusive targets.
A lovely set of miniatures and a gang that lets you dive into painting all manner of different colours across the gang. I can't wait to see what people do with this gang when they land on their desks.
Are you going to be getting these Ottomans for Carnevale?

Cool minis
Cool minis indeed! How do they measure up scalewise? Never seen Carnevale IRL..
32mm scale so a bit bigger than your standard 28mm figures. 35 to 40mm to the eye for a “human” figure.
