So I brush on some fine sand into the board it fills some of the gaps between the flagstones on the board. After brushing it on I then gave it a spray of 50/50 water and PVA to seal it in. I know there’s better mixtures I could use for fixing it in place but honestly I’ve other things that will be layered over it and will fix it in place. You’ll notice there’s the 2’x2’ flat area in the middle of the board. Two reasons for that I’ve played Bushido before and would like to get back into it again so it’s the right size for that game. Also cutting up lots of little squares in XPS foam is REALLY!! boring and tedious. If I can find it I’ll add a picture of an old Bushido board I made many years ago so you can see the sort of thing’s I produce.
Can’t believe I made these back in 2016. Suddenly feeling very old
This was actually my favourite board. It was the one that got me started.
It was nice seeing people play on the boards I made. I’m actually getting a bit nostalgic looking at these.
I ran a few Bushido tournaments a while back but as it does life gets in the way.
Thank you. Hopefully get some colour on to it over the weekend so it should look ready for scatter terrain. Looking forward to seeing how it goes. Anyone looking at the post may gather that I don’t really make plans. Let’s just see what comes next.
Looks really cool
