Grab Stunning New Fantasy Orcs On Kickstarter, The Longsnouts!
October 22, 2024 by brennon
Carlos Pérez, a sculptor for Big Child Creative, A Song Of Ice & Fire: Tactics, Zombicide, Marvel United, Mordred and The Dead Keep is now on Kickstarter with their own project which aims to bring some amazing 32mm Fantasy Orcs to the tabletop, The Longsnouts.
The Longsnouts // Carlos Pérez
The Longsnouts are a new range of pre-supported, STL files that you can print off and build in different ways due to the multi-pose and multipart nature of the kits. The look is absolutely gorgeous and they bring to me classic Fantasy Orcs with a Bonner feel but also a unique twist thanks to Pérez's hand.
Longsnouts Components // Carlos Pérez
This has been a dream of Carlos' for a while and the idea from this campaign is that you'll be able to build full units of Orcs that could all be unique and different. This seems like a great idea for those wanting to build warbands for skirmish wargames. Because you can build as many of these Orcs as you like with the kits, there's no reason why this couldn't grow and change into a full army as well!
Here are some of the finished, painted miniatures from the wonderful hand of Ork.Bot over on Instagram.

They are brilliant and come with lots of different weapon options. You've got spears and swords, plenty of shields and axes, daggers and additional command components so you can build big regiments.

Additional Stretch Goals have unlocked more options and there are plenty on the way as well. Mystery miniatures could pop up as the campaign continues for example. I would love to see some characters who could lead these Orcs. You could build a lot of characters using the set itself but it would be nice to have some one-off unique figures as well.

If you're interested in trying out these miniatures before you dive in, you can download and test print one of The Longsnouts HERE. Give the miniature a try at home before you dive in.
Would you be tempted to get involved with this campaign for Orktober?

They look great.
Nice sculpts but only ones and zeros *sad*
Currently having intermittent power cuts in my area so the connection comes and goes.
Proof that relying on “ones and zeros” is not a good thing.
Analogue gaming for the win.
You in Cuba?
These orcs are amazing. Such a great nod to Bonner and Confrontation, yet something of its own entirely. And so perfectly executed.
Only, would love to see a bit more variety in the general armour design and more moving leg stances.
Besides the lovely (digital) sculpts, the painting on these minis is excellent.
Indeed, super inspiring and just different enough.
These are some lovely looking orcs. I don’t have a printer (or either the time or money for one) but am still tempted 😀
I’d love to see these in plastic, they’d be an instant buy.
