Brigade Games has a couple of new 28mm scale sets for you to snap up that would be great for World War II raids against Italian and German facilities. You could say that they might well form into a ministry of rather ungentlemanly warfare given the chance.

Small Scale Raiding Force 1 - Brigade Games

There are three sets for you to choose from, sculpted by Mark Evans. The first set features some veteran fighters who have perhaps spent quite a bit of time in the field. They look like they are no stranger to fighting in Africa as well as Europe.

The second set features some fellows who might be doing a bit more undercover work. That work might also involve explosions.

This set features one undercover civilian with a pistol at the ready, one wearing a German uniform that he might have stolen and then a third soldier in civilian clothes with an SMG at the ready. If you're looking to cause some chaos, these fellows would be a good shout. Perhaps they could slot into a game of 02 Hundred Hours!

We also have set three which comes with some blurry images but the miniatures are no less cool for it!

Small Scale Raiding Force 3 - Brigade Games

This set comes with one female civilian for your team equipped with an SMG alongside another male civilian with an SMG. These folks are engaging in a bit of undercover action and will no doubt start blowing stuff up should they be given the opportunity. Use them for a bit of European skullduggery in Italy or perhaps in the streets of Paris during the occupation. The last miniature from the set comes with a bow and pistol for those silent kills.

Fight Them On The Beaches!

Last but not least, Brigade Games also included Mark Evan's Winston Churchill With SMG based on a picture from the period.

Whilst this might end up just being a painting project, I could also see Churchill finding his way into some Weird World War and What If? games. Even ol' Winston would have to pick up arms and get fighting if the Nazis managed to invade Blighty!

Do you like these new miniatures from Brigade and will you be picking up the sets?
