It’s not just scale … it’s how those fancy toys are handled by the rules.
I suspect a lot of the GW kits are sold as interesting hobby projects and less like practical units.

Warlord have acknowledged that a bit more focus on infantry is better for Bolt-Action. IT also helps that the footprint of the biggest vehicles is not too bad.

Meanwhile GW has got things that need precious real estate on a 6×4 table just to exist. That’s a whole new level of stupid.
