Operation: Sandtrap // Infinity
Operation: Sandtrap is the new Battle Pack with fourteen miniatures, a background booklet and a set of narrative missions covering the fight between the Kestrel Colonial Force from PanOceania and Shindenbutai from JSA. You will also get the cardboard scenery, dice and everything else that you need to start collecting Infinity and playing games in the new edition.
Operation: Sandtrap - Contents // Infinity
The fourteen miniatures in the set are all in metal and feature the same gorgeous detail as you'd expect from the Corvus Belli team. On the side of PanOceania, you have the Kestrel Colonial Force...
The Kestrel // Infinity
The Kestrel force is made up of three Fennec Fusiliers with Combi Rifles, one Griffin with HMG, one Banshee with Light Shotgun, one Scarecrow with Boarding Shotgun, and one Black AIR with MULTI Sniper Rifle.
On the side of the JSA, the Shindenbutai looks like this...
The Shindenbutai // Infinity
The Shindenbutai is made up of three Senku with Combi Rifles, one Raiden with Missile Launcher, one Jizamurai with Light Shotgun, one Hatamoto with Red Fury, and one Nokizaru with MULTI Marksman Rifle.
Completing the set, you get the ready-to-play double-sided Akashi Site cardboard terrain which litters the tabletop. You also have the game mat, six dice (three for PanOceania and three for JSA), markers, templates and measuring tools.
Another of the miniatures for the JSA is the gorgeous Yamabushi.

You'll find him in the pre-order bundle from Corvus Belli.
N5 Pre-Order Bundle // Infinity
The pre-order bundle also comes with all of the additional N5 releases to kick off the new edition. You get the Infinity N5 Lore Book and Korsan, Corsairs Of The Gate which is the special miniature to launch N5.
Special Korsan Miniature
Korsan is a corsair and pirate from the world of Infinity and should slot very nicely into your collection.
Korsan // Infinity
He should be a good fit for the Haqqislam namely the Qapu Khalqi and Ramah Taskforces in-game. An impressive miniature that might end up leading you into telling different stories within the world of Infinity from a narrative standpoint.
Infinity N5 Book
As mentioned above, Corvus Belli is also revealing the N5 Book which will guide you through the background of the Infinity universe.
Infinity N5 Book // Infinity
Inside this book...

A full-color hardcover book. 288 pages with new troops, more background to set the scene, and introducing the Kestrel PanOceania Sectorial Army and Shindenbutaiand Ōban, both new JSA Sectorial Armies, Infinity N5 presents a paradigm shift!"

J’adore korsan , une sorte d’albator pour les plus vieux .
Damn. Corvus Belli does it again. Every time I think I should really focus on other things, they bring out another set of gorgeous minis. My wallet whimpers…
both of my favourite factions in one box….i cant wait!
Fabulous looking figures an the defence line will be fabulous on the tablet
Very excited, I can’t find any prices. Does anyone have any idea of cost?
Bundle is looking to be around £147.00 at a discounted price…
£98.00 for just the Operation: Sandtrap set. May change as we get actual prices next week.
€194 for the bundle, €127 for sandtrap. I was able to receive an advanced copy.
I will be getting the ‘ginger Captain Harlock’ for my collection, and the Kestral squad later on when it is sold separately.
One of the few companies making metals in their intro kits, nice.
Overall looks good, might consider this.
I’m sure the price will make me go OW MUCH!!! but as a long time Infinity lurker this could very much get me to make the plunge.
What a great looking set, even if not used for Infinity!
Is Code One still a thing? And if so, is this the Code One intro equivalent for N5?
Il y aura un équivalent avec un autre nom par contre.
Code One has gone, but being replaced by a more ‘fitting’ intro to the game. I haven’t seen anything recently but according to Carlos, in one of the YT videos, there will be an introductory set featuring older minis and priced around 40 Euros (so about £35) if memory serves me. I’ve been collecting Infinity for a couple of years into my pile of (insert preferred advective) but never played so probably will get both, especially as the N5 release book is not a rule book but a Lore and Background book. Rules will be a living, online document and… Read more »
Allez je vais craquer aussi tant pis c’est bientôt Noël 🤶
Sorry, but the name makes me think of the back nine at a golf course.
im so excited for N5
If it wasn’t for all the standing on a tactical rock/crate/debris I would totally be down for preordering it all. I prefer my minis to look like they’re in the middle of a fight not posing for the movie poster.
MAKE VARUNA GREAT AGAIN. c´mon!
This is a pretty cool starter set! Great to see game companies coming out with good value sets more often than not
Holy smokes these are great miniatures! Wonder whether they price to ship that metal will be? Probably taking the Infinity plunge for the first time with N5 and this kit!
