Everyone remembers their first Conquest!
Some more knights….
When I first started this project I painted some of the original Household Knights using standard army painter paints. Now that Speedpaints are a thing I thought I’d have a go at some more to see how they would look with a slightly updated paint style. (BMB Included of course!)
Now to tone them down a bit it’s a dusting of the beige elixir! I’ll wash the colours with a 2-1 medium wash mix. It’s best to keep the shade diluted so it doesn’t kill the base colour.
After painting the knights to match I put them altogether and based them up. FYI the standard bearer is a bit of a kitbash as I didn’t have a standard or a cloak for him, I think he turned out okay (if a little flamboyant!) Overall I’m pretty pleased with how they turned out. I’ll need to get the originals out to compare!
