I’m also old and have seen and participated in a fair swathe of the hobby internet. I’ve run a website, blogs and even a wiki for my hobby content. All of them eventually bit the dust as products were either monetised to unaffordable levels or withdrawn because they cost the provider too much. I’m very happy here using Projects and hope that the content that we all provide is engaging enough to help drive traffic to the site and keep the lights on at OTT. I value the content here, both news posts and the feature videos. I too miss the former vibrancy of these forum pages but they still serve a purpose and although I recognise the value of Discord I’ve not got time to do much more than lurk there. Overall this is a great community and alongside supporting content like the UHH (thanks @sundancer ) there is plenty to keep both dedicated members and occasional visitors interested and engaged. Long may it continue.
