Getting ready for N5!

I looked through my collection of JSA minis, and it turns out I have already painted a decent amount. Most of the painted ones are characters, or stuff that is also available in other sectorials. I had painted up some of them to use in the Defiance board game.

I tend to build my models as I buy them, but these are at various stages of completion, some primed and some just based.

My plan was to make the bases us with grass and cherry blossom flowers spread on the ground, but now that there will be additional sectorials coming for JSA I will likely have to come up with a difference scheme for the new stuff.

I was at Gencon when they made the announcement, so I headed over to the CB booth on the last day. I was exhausted, and hadn’t even had a chance to watch the seminar yet, so I didn’t know what info was in the wild yet. But I asked Carlos to jump on camera and he was eager.

I did my best to ask coherent questions through the haze of 4 days of Gencon and lack of sleep. Turns out, a bunch of the info I got is actually big news. Very exciting stuff. Now I am even more hyped to dive into some painting!

I didn’t get to play nearly as much N4 as I would have liked, as my only opponent moved away. I was actually just getting another friend into it on the strength of the trailer for the new animated series they are doing. Very cool stuff.

So when I heard they were doing N5, I was very excited to be able to get in on the ground floor.
