I’ve finally got time to turn my 1:1 scale terrain work into a OTT project, because things are getting to a stage where I can show things in the real world. It is set to ‘private’ for now, because I want a few more bits done. At this stage I don’t know if I will update the desktop light-project or integrate it into the big one. They are definitely related, but for now they are two stand-alone projects.

Pics from ‘in progress’ stuff or generic unboxings are done with my phone, because it’s less work getting them online and the tools are good enough to clean up the worst bits.

This reminds me that I need to reserve space for the light box too. I may end up moving it into my computer room instead, but we’ll see when I get to that part.

With a bit of luck I can get the entire thing assembled today. If not then it’s the next weekend.

I think it’s roughly 4 weeks since I ordered my new bike and they said it would take 4-6 weeks for it to arrive. I hope that includes time to ship and re-assemble it at our end, but time will tell. “Soon(tm)” is a thing 🙂

I made a mess while using the ‘poly max’ glue which made me think this may be useful to create a bit of texture on terrain.
It is flexible too.
