So after 9 almost solid hours of painting the troopers are complete, well nearly, they still await highlights on the metals and some extra details like the stitches and buttons but considering the time I had I’m happy with what I achieved.

After painting 8 guys together I think I’ve realised that the scheme works best if I only do a couple at a time, the highlights, especially on the canvas and sloppier than on my test models and the overall effect isn’t as refined or as sharp. (Comparison below with model)
