I added two layers of (cheap) drywall compound to cover the frame.
I am making weird creepy trees growing in a corrupted forest, so to make them more visually interesting and more interesting for painting, I added three different kinds of texture over the trees in random pattern:
– baking soda (subtle texture)
– fine sand
– tike grout
