This one comes from the folks at the Cornwall Wargames Association who have put on a stunning Never Mind The Boathooks game which is packed with stunning ships and all manner of angry men in armour ready to do battle. Following the plundering of Brittany throughout the 100 Years’ war, the French set out for revenge on the Cornish Pirates. Facing them are Elizabeth Treffry and The Gallants of Fowey!
Fun fact, the shape of the Cornish Pasty was inspired by a boat hull with the crimping representing the keel…. and if you believe that i have a bridge to sell you
