Mighty Beasts & More Carry Mierce Through February Into March
February 19, 2015 by brennon
Mierce Miniatures have collected together another bumper crop of heroes and more for their game of Darklands. See what you think of these mighty warriors of myth and legends starting with Domnech, Timoth, Ieuan and Velchior (in order)...
Above we've got quite the eclectic mix of individuals from the seemingly normal in the case of Timoth the Smith and Ieuan the Warrior of Wygan (that title is hilarious) to the downright evil when it comes to Velchior. I'm not overly a fan of Velchior but I think the rest are superb sculpts and they've done some great work on Ieuan especially to make him look like he's in motion.
The warriors don't end there however with another four sets on the way. Kicking things off (in descending order) we have Rollo Iron Head followed by Eikovra, Brugg and finally Baagath's Herd!
All of these are, once again, awesomely detailed sculpts and a lot of work has gone into making these very bespoke collectors pieces as well as gaming pieces I would say. The detail level is very high here, especially on the likes of Rollo and Baagath's Herd.
Eikovra is also the first of their lizardman-type creatures that I've really liked and I think they've got a good mix of the standard looking lizardman with something a bit more eerie there too. A great piece with a cool standard.
I can't wait to see these painted up by their skilled artists!

Those are very nice.
Brugg is awesome!
Ive got a lot of their stuff now. Detail is sublime! 🙂 looking forward to my next delivery wave for my Formiac warriors and the new kindred stuff too. 🙂
some interesting characters.
Many of them look fantastic and can be used in other game settings.
All of the stuff I’ve had from Mierce is great and their customer service is excellent.
@brennon careful what you say about their characters, they might be based on real living people 😉
Very shiny. Definitely a few in there with hero possibilities.
