Battle With V&V Miniatures New 28mm Celtic Warriors

V&V Miniatures has added another set of 28mm figures to their webstore for your Historical wargames. The selection of Celts expands with another band of warriors. Whilst the last set was armoured, this set is looking a little lighter!

This set comes with four resin miniatures clad in light armour or, in the case of one fellow, with chest bared to the enemy. In terms of weapons, you've got a mixture of swords and spears as well as those iconic shields.

The hair for these fellows is the real selling point. It has been properly spiked and greased up making them a terrifying foe for your Romans to come up against. The only thing you're missing is plenty of woad on their bare flesh to complete the look. I like that the bare-chested fellow also has a torc around his neck which might mark him out as the champion or at least someone of note.

These sets from V&V Miniatures are small but they seem perfect for those looking to dive into skirmish games where you may only need a handful of miniatures per side. Take some time painting them up and think up some names for them!
