Votann Clash With Genestealer Cults In New 40K Kill Team Set
March 21, 2024 by brennon
A new Kill Team set is on the way for Warhammer 40,000 continuing the story unfolding on Bheta-Decima. The Genestealer Cults have taken control of most of the planet and brought down a scouting party of Votann. As you can imagine, they are not too happy about that!

Leading the way in this set we have the Hernkyn Yaegir. These pioneers range ahead of the main Leagues Of Votann force and often find them on frontier worlds looking to scout enemy forces. This means they are great at adapting to new situations and fighting with what they have to hand. You certainly get that here!
This set features options for shotguns alongside a host of pistols, plasma knives and even a good ol' fashioned pick. There is also a magna-coil sniper rifle in the set alongside a payload missile launcher for when things have really gone south and you need to make an explosive exit.
Looking to make sure that the Votann don't make it off planet, we also have the Brood Brothers.

These highly trained soldiers have been brought up through the ranks and now serve at the whim of the Genestealer Cults. Making use of existing plastic kits allows you to throw in loads of Cults-specific weaponry and accessories to make a rather awesome-looking Kill Team.
You will also get to choose a rather potent specialist for your Brood Brothers as you can see above. Maybe you'll fight under the command of the Broodlord or the Patriarch depending on the mission at hand. These are some of the most powerful Kill Team characters to date so I'm sure you'll have fun with them.
New Terrain
Whilst there is no new big set of terrain for this Kill Team set, Termination does come with two new thematic pieces of terrain in the form of the plasma generatoriums.

Hint. Maybe make sure your enemies are close to these and then shoot them for explosive results. When there's no escape from the clutches of your enemy it surely makes sense to just blow everything up!
What do you make of the new Kill Teams?

I think those brood brothers are awesome. Is it an upgrade kit for the cadians or new models entirely?
