DS’tone Art Come Down To Earth For New Gaming Mat Kickstarter

DS'tone are on Kickstarter to bring a series of Gaming Mats to your tabletop with a distinctly earthly feeling. While there are plenty of other gaming mat companies out there it's always good to have some choice...

The aim of the Kickstarter is to bring out a range of mats that you can use for role-playing and other ground based miniatures games like Dungeons & Dragons: Attack Wing you can see above. Each of the mats is going to be made out of vinyl and in either 3x3 or 4x6 size with a variety of different options for the layers too.

It's not just solid ground that gets a look in from DS'tone either as they've also looked at some cool sea based maps that you'd be able to use for Sails of Glory and more. Personally I'd use them to try and get my Uncharted Seas out on one of these!

As I mentioned before they may not be for everyone but it's always nice to have some options for wargamers to pick up a variety of different mats.
