Lucid Eye & Space McQuirk Join Forces For Savage Core Monolith
March 13, 2024 by brennon
Lucid Eye are now working with Space McQuirk on a new game set in the Savage Core called Monolith. McQuirk (of classic Warhammer fame) is going to be creating the rules for Monolith whilst the miniatures come from Lucid Eye and Steve Saleh.
Sprach The Neanderthal // Lucid Eye
There are three miniatures already available for the game which could be used in your regular games of Savage Core even before Monolith makes an appearance. You can get your hands on some meaty, metal miniatures like Sprach The Neanderthal and Also The Hunter.
Also The Hunter // Lucid Eye
The characters are already looking great and an awesome way for you to dive into something Fantasy and Pulp at the same time. I really like Also The Hunter who looks like he could be a rather fetching anti-hero for your next few games of Savage Core.
There is also the mighty Zarathrustra The Cavewoman who has a name that wouldn't look out of place in a classic comic from the 80s or 90s. Maybe a straight to VHS movie.

These three miniatures are available right now so you can get a head start on your miniatures collection for Space McQuirk's Monolith. We shall hopefully get a peek at the rules that they are planning in the near future.
Are you tempted by a new Space McQuirk wargame and miniatures range from Lucid Eye?

Space McQuirk?
Now that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time. A long time…
Cheeky buggers! Also, Sprach, Zarathrusta. XD “Thus Spoke Zarathustra” [a tone poem by Richard Strauss, composed in 1896 and inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche’s philosophical 1883–1885 novel Thus Spoke Zarathustra. Source Wikipedia] Love the minis.
Really cool minis. Savage Core is such a cool setting; I’d love to be able to play it one day.
Lucid Eye has some really cool stuff. My wife snagged a few of the Frazetta minis for me before their license expired.
I’m also tempted to grab some of the Elf King stuff if for no other reason than the art and lore.
I love the Lucid Eye minis so I’ll be keeping an eye on this. Savage Core is already a pretty good rules set, so I’m especially curious to see what’s different about this.
