More Drones Roll Off The Cyberpunk Production Line For HINT

Human Interface - Nakamura Tower continues to show off some really neat looking work-in-progress for their Cyberpunk board game project with the Nakamura Masamune Drone. See what you think of both the renders and the prototype!
Some great work once again bringing the 3D renders to life and giving them a neat look and feel. I love the almost bio-mechanical pipes and such that they have coming out of the main body of the drone as it adds to the rather strange sentient insect feel. I don't imagine this is going to be helping you fight but instead trying to pin you down on the board with that little machine gun.
One of the things I really like about the sculpt even at this point is the blades inside the engines. It would be cool to see if you could paint them to make it look as if the things is actually spinning!
When it comes to narrative the folks behind HINT have presented some more for you by talking about the Nakamura Corporation in their cool info bursts on Facebook. This latest update talks about the succession to power for Mrs. Yukio Nakamura!

Those look like prototype Hunter-Killers.
It is beginning already – no fate but what we make!
Sorry, wrong franchise and, indeed, wrong wargame. 😉

In all seriousness though, i am getting more and more of a Ghost in the Shell vibe from Human Interface – Nakamura Tower, and that is a very good thing indeed.
This piece just doesn’t have the ‘cool factor’ I look for. My opinion, of course.
I want to like this mini but find the top a little flat and bland.
Someone pick up the Shadowrun licence for a minis game and get it done please!
