Spidey Goes to Paint and Take

I went out of town this weekend and attended one of my favorite game conventions, DunDraCon. I’ve been going for decades, in fact it was the first game convention I ever went to. I’ve met some of my closest friends there and it is great place for all of us who have moved all over California to come together. What was once pretty much a role-play and boardgames convention has grown and diversified. Now there is every kind of game, genre, and style one can imagine as well as an extensive Paint-and-Take area run by some of my friends. Since the light in the hotel room is less than ideal and it is a friendly social place, i headed to the Take and Paint room when I wanted to paint. I brought my own minis and brushes but shared their light, water, and company. I worked some more on Spidey and Doctor Octopus. One of the organizers saw what I was working on and asked if I wanted a Doctor Strange he had so of course I said yes! I was able to find a couple more sets in the Dealer Room as well.
