Kabuki Honour Dead Space With Release Of Their Alien Hunter
February 16, 2015 by dracs
Dead Space is widely considered one of the scariest scifi horror games to have come out in the last decade. Kabuki definitely liked the game and have now released their much anticipated Alien Hunter.
Back when the 3D renders first appeared, Kabuki left a comment on our article:
"We at Kabuki Models really love the Dead Space saga, in particular the very first videogame. It scared the shit out of us (in the good way!), and the iconic style of the protagonist had to be honored with a miniature!"
I think we can all agree that Kabuki have succeeded in faithfully capturing the iconic style of the game with their own Alien Hunter, with both the unique armour and weaponry clearly picked out.
Kabuki's Alien Hunter will no doubt be a superb collector's piece, and I am interested in seeing what painting schemes people use with it. However, I would also be interested to hear what gaming possibilities could arise from it. Maybe someone could come up with some Space Hulk style rules for a Dead Space game?
Are you a fan of Dead Space? What do you think of Kabuki's Alien Hunter?

Dead Space guy looks good in model form.
Cool mini I like it 🙂
Love the game, really like the miniature but I have a thing about paying postage when it’s almost the same (or more) than the thing I’m buying. Hopefully Wayland will get a few of these to sell 😀
he looks good.
That looks awesome. Even better than the sedition war one I have.
At 10 euros I think I’ll buy it.
Like siygess I’ll wait for it to end up at a UK stockist first tho
Wonder if there are any weapon variations available??
Heh, well, you could always turn the Plasma Cutter on it’s side for a second weapon option 😉
That’s a cool model.
I’ll be getting this.
Time to get my Space Hulk boards out. I’m sure with a few modifications there would be a way of making a decent survival action game, maybe using the SH rules.
As for Necromorphs, Tyranid arms might be a decent place to start converting some sci fi human models
Some some good results on Pinterest using bloodletter bodies with zombie or ghoul heads.
“Saw some”
Thanks for quoting our shameless comment! Ahahah!
We hope that you guys like this miniature! 😀
