New Tengu Faction Sticks its Beak Into Bushido
February 15, 2015 by dracs
GCT Studios have some very exciting news for all Bushido fans as they announce the appearance of a new faction in the game of Asiatic fantasy.
So far, these silhouettes are all we have to go on for this new faction. In Japanese folklore, Tengu are powerful creatures, presented as part man and part bird. Unfortunately, we can't see the faces of these character designs, so we can't tell if they will have the nasal features that many people associate them with.
These avian yokai aren't the only ones to be joining Bushido as a new character has also appeared for the Temple of Ro-Kan, the male kistune Kyuubi.
Apparently, the male kitsune lack the females' shape shifting abilities, but make up for this by being fierce warriors and hunters after those who upset the balance. Kyuubi reportedly uses stealth to defeat the Temple's foes, striking from the foliage to take them out.
Do you want to find out more about the Tengu of Bushido? Will Kyuubi help your Temple warband?

just gonna leave this here… yup i think that does nicely
Now then this system has some lovely miniatures, great to see another faction on the way.
Don’t forget the Shadow Wind (ninjas) from the Rise of the Kage games are also on their way as a faction; taking it up to 8 factions as far as I can recall. Probably enough
They’ve done well with their waved releases. Can they maintain the same release velocity for each faction by increasing the overall work oing that by 33% – or is that velocity going to drop – or are they going to call it a day on new releases for older factions with plenty of models?
