The Mortal Realms are not to be left out when it comes to the news from Games Workshop and LVO. Warhammer Age Of Sigmar fans will be able to chart the continued development of the narrative with new miniatures, new books and more.

Leading the way was Krethusa, The Croneseer. Seeking the blessing of Morai-Heg, she headed into a temple in the depths of Ulgu, donning a circlet of inverted spikes and losing her sight. Alas, the blessings did not come and she spent many years in anguish. This was until Morathi-Khaine attained her ascendance and now she finds herself blessed with those awesome wings and foresight so that she can plot the route ahead for those who listen.

She will first be released as part of a new Daughters Of Khaine Dawnbringers boxed set, an additional Regiment Of Renown.

Krethusa Cronehost - Warhammer Age Of Sigmar

Krethusa's Cronehost // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar

Krethusa's Cronehost will feature plenty of her followers including five Doomfire Warlocks (who can also be built as Dark Riders) and ten Witch Aelves which can also be built as Sisters Of Slaughter. If you're looking to make a themed army then you've got a good starting point here within the forces of Order.

New Dawnbringers Book + Miniatures

Krethusa is the main focus of a new and distinctly grim book in the Dawnbringers series where the twin-tailed city of Hammerfal finds itself beset by evil.

Dawnbringers Shadow Of The Crone - Warhammer Age Of Sigmar

Dawnbringers: Shadow Of The Crone // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar

Shadow Of The Crone will see Krethusa giving her aid to a band of heroes who have been tasked with delving into the depths of Hammerhal to cleanse it of the Kingsblood Curse that is ravaging the population.

Callis & Toll Saviors Of Cinderfall - Warhammer Age Of Sigmar

Callis & Toll Saviors Of Cinderfall // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar

Luckily, stars of Black Library and Warhammer+ animations, Hanniver Toll and Armand Callis have recruited a team to try and help them with this endeavour. The set comes with some wonderful miniatures for both Hanniver Toll and Armand Callis but also their companions.

The talented thief known as Lyssa Revenya (top left) will be helpful when evading the traps that lie in the city's crypts and catacombs and whilst many would prefer to string her up, Toll has decided that he has a better use for her skills. She is joined by Mistress Verentia (bottom left) who is the Weaver Of Secrets. With her cohort of felines and other creatures at her command, she has eyes and ears all over the city and she will no doubt be someone helpful to have on side.

The last of the miniatures is for Valius, The Keeper Aqshian and his faithful Gryph-hound Balthas. As a Lord-Castellant, Valius has been in Hammerhal since the beginning and carries the key to the city. As a Stormcast Eternal, Valius is going to be helpful when the fighting gets brutal.

The narrative will be charted in the new Dawnbringers book but also the new Callis & Toll novel that will be coming out to accompany this expansion of the lore in Warhammer Age Of Sigmar.

Callis & Toll - The Black Library

As I've said elsewhere, it's great to see the freedom that the design team in Warhammer Age Of Sigmar has to take the narrative, the factions and more in different directions. I hope that the eventual fallout from the Dawnbringers series will lead to some fun developments in the lore for The Mortal Realms and that inevitable new edition of the game that is coming later this year (if rumours are to be believed).

What do you make of these new miniatures?
