Wargames Atlantic Showcase First Sprues For The Damned

Wargames Atlantic has previewed the first look at the plastic sprues for the upcoming The Damned Sci-Fi range that was funded over on Gamefound last year. See what you think of these upcoming 28mm plastic followers of chaos.

These are the very first of The Damned sprues to have come off the machine and they are looking great. As is the case with a lot of the Wargames Atlantic kits, there are loads of options for heads, bodies, arms, legs and of course weapons. There is even a sneaky Gerry on there but then again there always is!

Embracing the classic idea of plenty of modular elements, this is going to be a lot of fun for people to assemble. As well as being fun just using these sprues, I imagine a lot of folks will have fun kitbashing all sorts of other bits together as well from different kits in the Death Fields range.
These are no doubt going to be the core of a lot of Chaos forces in the likes of Warhammer 40,000 plus I could see these being dropped into games like Stargrave as deadly cultists for you to face on a distant planet!

Nice! I really like that they are including so many body poses on a sprue now as older kits (such as the Grognards), are sometimes limited to just three.

Stargrave looks a good destination for these. Fire reasons I have a load of gw cultists but if I run out, these!
I backed it thinking it would be good for all those warband and platoon level SciFi and postapoc games, and given they have trucks its probably be a good way to start a “28mm” Gaslands army.
Yeah these do look good, I do hope the whole thing turns out more “cultist like” and less “guard like” overall once they are done with all the sets for this army they had funded.
