Explore The Boglanders From Ramshackle Games
January 10, 2024 by brennon
Ramshackle Games' Boglanders range is now available for you to scoop up from their webstore. The range is resin and 28mm scale and could be fun for dropping into all the strange, grimdark wargames out there! If you're looking to make a particularly unique and quirky warband for your wargames then this is the place to be.
Boglanders Set #1 // Ramshackle Games
Whilst there are different sets available, the idea is that you can dive in and you can play around with all sorts of different bits to make your quirky warband and a vast array of different characters. You can get your hands on some strange characters that come moulded with integral arms but the vast majority of the range is a bit of mix and match!
Boglanders Set #2 // Ramshackle Games
What's quite nice about the range is that Ramshackle Games has put together a neat Source Book that could be good if you're looking to set your Fantasy wargames in this universe. It also serves as a catalogue of what's available from Ramshackle as part of the Boglanders range so you can do some picking and choosing as you see fit. There is a physical book available HERE but also a digital version HERE.
Boglanders Set #4 // Ramshackle Games
As you can see, the selection of different kits is pretty vast and you can do all sorts of odd things with this range. I really like the idea of using these to play out something totally weird in one of the many 28 Mag-themed games out there. The Weald or Lobsterpot seems like a good shout or perhaps Verrotwood. You could also drop these into something Turnip28 or Sludge if you prefer.
Boglanders Set #16 // Ramshackle Games
Make sure to go and check out the full set of Boglanders miniatures over on the Ramshackle Games webstore. If you're tempted to dive in, let us know what miniatures you've picked up and what games you'll be using them for.

I backed the Kickstarter for this and the miniatures arrived a week or so ago – very nice they are indeed.
Oddly charming in a weird sort of way.
Set 2 reminds me of ‘Chaos’ type figures from the late 70s, like Minfigs’ Sharadan Lords of Darkness.

Backed the Kickstarter and picked some up at Britcon while nattering to Curtis, a great local company I’ll happily support.
