We had a blizzard here in Brighton too yesterday.
Not sure I’m going to be able to dig my way down the workshop at the bottom of my garden in this weather! (ok, what I mean is I’m going to have to wear something more substantial than slippers and put the heating on in there).
It’s also arctic-freezing down here. My thermometer almost dipped below zero! I think we must have been the coldest point on the planet, or something. If it continued, I’d have had to call in mountain rescue to deliver my shopping. Luckily it’s all melted away today.
@sundancer – yes, Fimo is relatively expensive compared to DAS clay (about a tenner for half a kilo, compared to five for a kilo of clay). But it’s a million times better. DAS shrinks sooo much (by up to about 20% last time I used it).
Plus, I got to make beads and jewellry with the kids too, which they would never have done if we didn’t have a variety of lurid, brightly coloured artifical-polymer to play with.
