The classic hairy clansmen and women have been joined by the new plastic sets of twenty half-elves and two Frostclaw riders in this box, making it a solid core for getting into Kings of War. The Northern Alliance have it all, elves, dwarfs, humans and elementals are joined by monstrous cavalry and giants so if you don't want to be stuck painting dozens of the same type of figure over and over for your massed fantasy army then the Alliance is a great way of varying up your painting along with your playstyle. This army box will put you well on your way to your first games of Kings of War or can be used as an Ambush force for smaller games with the full rank and file feel.
